The First Baptist Church of Pinson Day Care offers a safe, happy, Christian environment. Developmental care is given Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for children ages 6 weeks - 12 years. Children are provided with a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. Teachers plan and execute a daily program designed to give your child the best of care. FBCP offers before and after school pick up for Pinson and Kermit Johnson Elementary. During the summer we have full time care for school age children. Our summer program includes a variety of field trips such as, swimming at the Oneonta City Pool or Spring Valley Beach, the Tennessee Aquarium, picnics, free movies at Trussville Regal Cinema each Wednesday, and many other activities.

Children ages 3 - 5 who are enrolled in full time day care, attend kindergarten each morning, September through May. Our kindergarten teachers are trained in teaching the Abeka Curriculum. All children attend chapel and music on Wednesday mornings and we have a storyteller every second Tuesday of each month. During the school year, four and five year old classes attend three Children's Theater performances at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center as well as other field trips. We also offer a three day/three year old class, a three day/four year old class, these classes are for children who attend kindergarten only, and five year olds are a combination of day care and kindergarten only children. Kindergarten hours are as follows:

• Three year olds - 8:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
• Four year olds - 8:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
• Five year olds - 8:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
